Yael Saffra

Yael Saffra is an experienced Jewish educator who loves to teach Tanach. She is currently on the faculty of Haftr High School and SKA High School for Girls, and previously taught at Shulamith of Long Island and the Heschel School. Yael graduated from Stern College for Women and holds a masters in Jewish education from Azrielli. She  is currently an adult educator and guest speaker in the Five Towns and Long Beach shuls/synagogues and has written for the Layers Project. Yael is most recently a graduate of Matan’s Eshkolot Fellowship for educators. She lives in the Five Towns with her husband Norman and their four children.
