Rabbi Elie Weissman serves as Rabbi of the Young Israel of Plainview and Coordinates the Tanach Department for Yeshiva University High School for Girls where he serves as an educator and teacher mentor.  He studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion before attending Yeshiva University where he received his BA in English Literature, MA in Biblical Studies from Bernard Revel Graduate School, and Rabbinic Ordination from Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary.  

 

Most recently, he was chosen for the Tikvah Foundation’s Lincoln Scholars program and will be teaching in their Great Speeches and Great Leaders Program.
